About Map'd
Map'd is a daily geography game about one deceptively simple question: where is the point exactly halfway between two places? Some days it's two neighbouring cities, some days it's opposite sides of the world, and the answer is rarely where you first think.
The Daily Challenge gives every player the same two locations, so you can compare scores with friends or the whole leaderboard. When one puzzle a day isn't enough, multiplayer lobbies and solo games let you play as many rounds as you like. For the full rules, see How to Play.

What is Map'd?
Map'd is a free geography game about midpoints. You're shown two places on the map and have to guess the spot exactly halfway between them. The closer your guess, the better your score.
How does the Daily Challenge work?
Everyone gets the same two locations each day. Press start, and you have 60 seconds to search for the place you think is the midpoint and submit it. You only get one guess. Then the true midpoint is revealed and you can see how far off you were and where you rank on today's leaderboard.
Do I need an account to play?
Not for the daily. The whole game is free, and the Daily Challenge needs no account at all. A free account unlocks multiplayer lobbies, solo games and Survival mode, lets you play at full-globe, continent or country scale, keeps your streak, stats and history across devices, puts you on the all-time leaderboards, and lets you add friends.
How is my guess scored?
By distance: how many kilometres your guess is from the true midpoint. A lower distance is better, and the daily leaderboard ranks everyone by it.
Can I play with friends?
Yes. With a free account you can open a multiplayer lobby, invite friends, and play live rounds where you take turns choosing the locations. There's also a Survival mode, where guesses that land outside a shrinking circle are knocked out.
How often is there a new puzzle?
Every day. The Daily Challenge resets once a day with two new locations, the same for every player.
